Let's Be "FRANK"...Kindergarten Is The Best!

Halloween/Fall Party 2014

Thank you to all who helped with our Fall party!  We played games, ate wonderful treats, and even took home treat bags!  It was a huge success and the kids were very well
behaved and appreciative!

Red Ribbon Week

The kids participated in Red Ribbon Week and learned some valuable lessons while having fun!  Enjoy the pics...

Fire Safety Presentation

We had a wonderful presentation from the local Fire Department recently.  Clayton Neel and his partner, known only to us as      "Ra-Ra" brought in their fire truck and equipment .  Clayton emphasized the importance of planning and practicing for emergencies.  He also dressed in his equipment to reassure the students and explain it all and what to do.  We practiced stop, drop and roll.  Then, as a little treat, Mr. Townsend and Clayton competed to see who could get completely geared up faster!  Clayton won but Mr. T. proved to be speedy as well.  Thank you to the fire department!

Party Like It's 1985....

Loved that sign but must admit she wasn't even born then!
I am so glad that my kids love sports as much as I do!
Notice it IS a house divided when it comes to baseball!
My daughter, Sarah, and her boyfriend Joe, At Kauffman Stadium for the wildcard game.
Royals vs A's
GO ROYALS!

Drip Dry

Well, we had to "put the laundry out to dry" only once thus far this fall.  It was a horrible downpour with lots of lightening and I felt like I did as a young mom getting the kids out of their wet clothes and sitting with them curled up practically on top of my lap during the thunder and lightening.  I loved it!!

Earth Balloon

We had a very cool visit from the Earth Balloon recently.  The balloon was made up of satellite images of the world!!!  The kids actually got to go inside and see a different view.  They  We were in awe!

Ahhhh.... College Sports.... Let The Games Begin!

Marathon Kick Off & Elementary ALS Challenge...

The elementary staff was challenged by our new principal, Mr. Townsend, to take the ALS Ice Bucket challenge and make a donation.  Here is part of the staff... we had to do this in two different parts to get everyone under the "bucket".  WES challenged Wellsville Middle School Staff. HUGE thank you to Clayton Neel and his wife, Heather for bringing in the fire hose and setting it all up.  Another HUGE thank you to Ryan Williams for running the bucket.  Somehow, I don't think he minded too much!

The children all participated in our annual marathon kick off.  We ran/walked the first mile together and now it is up to them if they choose to participate.  Thank you to Peggy Inglehart and the Wellness Committee for getting this organized!

Lots Going On!

During the first few weeks of school, we have accomplished much, adjusted A LOT, and compromised some.   Here are a few pics of centers, work, play and an all around good day!
